The story of Rubis began in 1961 with the production of precision tweezers, which were initially used mainly by the noble Swiss watch manufacturers. Hence the name Rubis - it refers to the rubies that are used as bearing jewels in high-quality watch movements with the help of the finest tweezers.

For our Mandala Edition, we were inspired by the aesthetics of Far Eastern cultures. The harmonious patterns are said to have a calming effect and have a positive effect on the ability to concentrate.
